First draft Strategic Priorities 2013-2018
Dear Member Organisations,
as you are well aware the European Youth Forum bases its current work on the Strategic Priorities that were adopted in 2006 and cover the six-year period between the beginning of 2007 and the end of 2012.

Vassiliou's letter reacts on COMEM Policy Documents
European Commissioner Vassiliou has sent the European Youth Forum a letter in response to our sending the COMEM Policy Documents to her. As you can read in the attachment, Commissioner Vassiliou gives some feedback on each of the Policy Papers and Resolutions adopted at the last COMEM in November 2011. We have always been sending the Commissioner (as well as all other institutional partners) our Policy Documents after they had been adopted by the COMEM and this is the first time she has replied in details with content remarks on each document.

With a view to support is Member Organisations in contributing to the implementation of youth-specific objectives of Europe 2020 Strategy, the European Youth Forum as prepared an overview of the youth-related measures proposed in the Annual Growth Survey 2012. Please find this document attached.

Call for contributions : YO Mag
We are currently looking for contributions towards the Info Forum section of the next Youth Opinion.
The aim of the section is to highlight youth events being organised by member organisations all across Europe. So, if you’re organising an event from April to August and you would like it to feature in YO mag, please e-mail Caoimh Kett with the relevant information before the 8th February.

OBESSU is hiring a Policy Officer (VET)
OBESSU is looking for a Policy Officer for Vocational Education and Training (VET) who will be in charge of all the upcoming policy developments and projects related to VET, apprenticeships and youth employment. S/he will work under the supervision of the OBESSU Secretary General and cooperate with the other members of the Secretariat.

Applications are now open for the "Bridging the Age Gap: working together to develop rural communities" to be held at the European Youth Centre Budapest 15-22 April 2012.
The event aims to promote intergenerational solidarity in rural youth work as part of the 2012 European Year of Intergenerational Solidarity. By working together across generations we can more effectively support sustainable rural communities and create a better future for young people.

L4WB Capacity Building
The Learning for Well-Being Youth Movement (L4WB) are very happy to invite you invite you to participate in the L4WB Capacity Building that will take place in Dordrecht StayOkay Youth Hostel, the Netherlands from March 5th to 9th (travel days included) organized with the support of the Youth in Action programme of the EU and UEF.
PARTICIPANT PROFILE
The direct target group of this project are European youth workers, aged 18-35 years, working or volunteering full-time in organisations or groups who interact or represent youth.
